Dear All,
The second Workshop at Dhaka went off extremely well, and the progress
made are visible on the WikiEducator pages. I take this opportunity to
thank all the participants for their efforts and Prof. Murthy and
Prof. Panda for conducting the workshop at Dhaka. Now we are entering
the last phase of the project, and there are certain activities that
need to be done. I hope you all will recall about the introduction we
did online before the first workshop. Similarly, we need to do a small
exercise of summarization of our experiences. Here I outline tasks
that needs to be done by the participants:

1. Please go to your WikiEducator chapter and complete it in all
respect by 10th of May 2008. After that, we will take whatever
available as FINAL, and do the polishing work. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

2. After you complete your chapter, please hit the reply button to
this mail, and write a SUMMARY of your experience in this project
starting from the online introduction, online WikiEducator training,
workshop 1, online support, to workshop 2 and any other matter related
to this project. This could be in about 100-150 words or so. You may
like to write more, if needed.

3. Write three things that your learned during this period and would
like to implement in your future activities. Also write three things
that you did not like and could have been avoided.

Your inputs shall be extremely useful for me to sum up this training
programme and also continue this Google Group for future collaboration
amongst the participants.

with regards, Sanjaya

Summary of my experience

Firstly it was very difficult me to follow the instructions given by the on line resource person. I do not have a computor at my home. Even I do not
have enough computor and internet facilities in my office. Without considering these my problems the online resource person forced me to do some work. I know sometimes I asked the same question many times from him. I think he got angry with me. However he pushed me to do so. I think it is his duty as a resource person. Finally I was alright. Now I can use the Wikieducator. So I want to give my heartiest thank for him. Then to Pro. Santosh and Pro. Murthu. Both workshops are very important to us. We gained a lot.
When we are creating learning materials we have forgetten our learners.Always we have to keep in mind about our target group.After these workshops I came to know following things are very important and I gained knowledge about that.
* How to prepare self assessment questions.
* How to make activities.
* How to link Introduction, Self assessment questions and activities.
`I gained a some sort of knowledge regarding programme evaluation. Actually I cannot mention the dislike things went through the workshops.It is better to provide enough computer facilities with in the workshops.The knowledge and the experienec we got from the workshops can be used for better development of our open school programme. Hope so. Finally I would like to give my thanks to resource persons, C O L , and organizors. God bless to all.

Summary of my experience:

It was so interesting to connect myself in the wikieduactor for all the time. I made me easyto access in wikieducator with the direction of online resource person Dr. Sanjaya  Mishra. Special thanks for Sajaya Mishra for encouraging us to work in wiki.

I was familiar before about ODL and Self learning materials but it was not totally clear to me. After the workshop it is quiet clear to me. I learned many things about content development, editing, Assessment, progamme evaluation. Especially I need to mention here the following three things:

* linking introduction to previous chapter and section to subsection.

* How to make activities.

* Assessment of assignment.

I try my best to apply in my open school what I gained in the workshop. Finally I would like to give my thanks to Prof. Panda & Prof. Murthy for their nice and fruitful presentation.
I mentioned before that a lot of things achived from the workshop. But where the total system has been running smoothly we want to be a witness there and this my appeal. Thanks to all.
