Reminder to Complete Chapter Creation and Uploading to WikiEd

Dear Participants,
Please refer to my earlier posting where I requested you to complete
the chapter creation work by 25th March 2008. This is just a reminder
about that. I have observed that only five of you have shown some
interest (2 from Sri Lanka and 3 from Bangladesh) so far. While, Dr.
Akhter (Gender Issues), Dr. Karim (micorbial wolrd), Ms. Najnin
(Cagtegorical Syllogism) have alsomst completed their work, Nimal and
Raja are struggling with WikiEducator. Raja has in fact prepared a
resonably good chapter, and needs to upload the same to WikiEd, and
Nimal is trying hard both with WikiEd and the chapter to improve. I
understnad that access to computers and Internet are problems with
some of you, but we have to find ways and means to complete the
project plans.

I request you all to continue with the chapter creation and uploading
to WikiEd. Let me know when you do so.

I have noted Dr Mishra's comments regarding the progress so far.Let me
start by congratulating those of you who have managed to achieve your
objectives so far.I also want to encourage those of you, who are
behind schedule, not to give up , but to pursue your goal. This is a
learning experience which will be very rewarding ! May I also request
those of you who are ahead on schedule, to assist your friend who are
behind? May I wish you all the best ...we are nearly there!

I am very much busy with organising JSC Tutor Conference. I would request you to kindly extend one week for completing the unit on wiki. I pushed them to complete the work and I thinkd some of them are nearly finished to upload thier unit on wiki.

Dear Mizan and all,
I am happy to know that some of you are in the process of finalizing
the lessons. Please log on to WikiEd, and that will make me aware of
your involvement. Well, considering the suggestion of Mizan, we are
extending the date of completion of the lesson writing by another one
week.

I can understand Mizan, how busy you are with the official work. But,
may I request you also to personally be in touch with the participants
over phone and motivate them. Kindly let me know who are actullay
working on the lessons offline. I think, we need to give the lessons
in advance to the Resource Persons before the nest workshop starts.

Dear Mizan:
 
Hi. We look forward to all the units on the Wiki. I am sure all the colleagues will be able to do this. May I request you to paster colleagues from Urdu department also to finish units in full.
 
This is to confirm, we have received letters for visa for April 26-30 workshop. The letter notes that the workshop will be on 'Evaluation in DE'. Can you further clarify as to what you intend to be covered in the workshop, and in what way you visualise the units developed (ie the first workshop) so far can be linked to the forthcoming second one!! The workshop design inputs given at the project site in WikiEducator may also be seen.
 
Shall wait for your response, and then we will sit here and develop a full 5-day schedule to get the most out of the workshop.
