FW: COF Showcase Poster Submission Deadline

Here is a reminder from the Choose Ohio First program manager at the Ohio Department of Higher Education that the deadline for submitting poster presentation proposals for the COF Scholar Showcase is JANUARY 11. Notice that is BEFORE classes resume for spring term. Thus, I strongly urge you to submit your poster presentation proposal before you leave campus for the holiday break at the end of this semester. The poster presentation proposal does not have to describe all of the details of your poster, only give a general summary. So, I suggest that at the December 1 meeting, all of the groups complete the summary of their poster and be sure that someone is identified who will take responsibility for submitting the presentation proposal for your group. You can decide later who will attend the Showcase and include everyone in the group as co-authors.

Dear Choose Ohio First designees,
Friendly reminder that the deadline to submit for the Choose Ohio First scholar poster session is Friday, January 11th. Please encourage your scholars to submit posters on research, class projects or internships/co-op experiences . Any approved poster submission from the showcase can be counted towards your annual reporting per the executed award agreement.
