Protecting Kids from Addictive or Harmful Internet Sites

I was bemoaning the fact recently that some very bright kids were
pulling a fast one on their Mom by playing VERY ADDICTIVE COMPUTER
GAMES like Rune Scape non-stop for long periods of time, not sleeping,
staying up ALL NIGHT, obsessing over Rune Scape to the point of not
doing homework and then subsequently not being able to get out of bed
the next morning, missing school, etc. Every time Mom pulled the
plug, they would get back on line again as soon as her back was
turned, and defeat her various attempts to knock them off-line. It
was a very unhappy situation!

Well, this mom is a scientist, she holds patents, she knows how to
research a matter diligently and is not about to be bamboozled by a
couple of kids! By thoroughly investigating the matter, she
discovered a FOOL--PROOF, incontovertible method of BLOCKING both
individual sites and whole categories of sites. Anotherwords, this
method will put social networking sites, or game sites, or adult
(pornographic) sites, or whatever kinds of sites you, the adult, feel
