With this email, we begin the much awaited process of formation of the
Team for Official Magazine and Newsletter of the Mission
, and we invite nominations for the Team.
Please send your nominations to me (
abhi...@gmail.com ) after reading the details and in the format specified in the end of this mail.The National Executive will consider all the nominations and announce the formation of the team. The National Executive will also declare the
Name of the magazine with the formation of the team.
Last date for sending nominations is 15th April 2007.

* The term of the first committee shall be for six months.
Expectations from the Team:
* Timely delivery of the magazine.
* The work may require about 1-2 hour daily or 6-12 hours per week and may require more time depending on the conditions. Team members are supposed to contribute time as per the needs of the team to ensure timely work.
* Collection of data and articles will be the team's responsibility
* Handling communication with Chapters and members shall be the team's responsibility. The National Executive shall extend its help in all possible ways to achieve this.
Eligibility Conditions for membership of the team:She/He:
* Should be a Active Member of the Mission as defined by the Constitution
* Should have completed 18 years of age
* Should have been active in the mission for at least the past 6 months
* Should have good command (written & spoken) over English.
* Should be proficient in using required software like text/document/image editors like MS-Word, Excel, Paint, Adobe, etc; or have the willingness to learn.
* The first issue of the Magazine shall be latest by end of May'07.
Call for Nominations:This is the call for nominations to the Magazine committee. The committee shall consist of at-least the following roles (not exhaustive):
Chief Editor (1): Responsible for overall functioning of the Team and publication. Shall be responsible for all words published. Will be the final authority in the team.
Editors (atleast 1): Will assist the Chief editor and perform specific duties as defined by the Chief Editor.
Designer(1): Will assist in designing and bringing out the layout of the magazine.
Reporters(Minimum 3): Will help the team in getting news from Chapters, other organizations, any other sources.
Other roles: Members may nominate themselves for roles other than the ones mentioned above. Please write in details about the role you find yourself suitable for.
