Dear Members,
Bharat Uday Mission has organised it's IV national convention at Gwalior on 14-15 July.
The convention was attended by 50 members of various chapters.
All the changes in the time schedule was made by Steering Committee.

7:30 to 8:00 A.M -  Flag Hosting Demonstration (Mission Dhwaja Samman)

9:00 to 12:30 P.M -General Body Discussion on Road map.
                            The discussion was conducted in four sessions.
                            1) Road map for propogation.
                            2) Road map for Organisational/administration.
                            3) Road map for activities.
12.30 to 2.00 PM - Lunch
2.00 to 2.30 PM -   Announcement and call for the nominations of
                            vaccant post in NE.
2.30 to 4.00 PM -   Road map discussion continues
                            4) Road map for financial requirements.
4:00 to 5:00 PM - Compilation of meet.

National Council's Decisions

 

1. Expansion of National Executive: The responsibility of the joint secretary organization will be divided among:

     a) Joint sec- Information

     b) Joint sec- Propagation

 

Mr. Prahalathan on behalf of NC will call for the nominations for NE at main yahoo group.

 

2. National Council will meet in every 4 months. National Council will try to meet in budding chapters.

 

3. National Council members will have a online/telephonic conference every week.

 

4. All decisions of NC will be explicit voting.

 

5. All National Council members will inform their chapter about the decisions regularly.

 

6. National Executive will take all decisions on day to day basis, decision not on day to day basis, will be taken by National Council.

 

7. If NC member is not performing, its chapter will be asked to send another representative.

 

8. The mission will not have an External Policy Team till the NC takes further decision on this. The internal policy team will continue.

 

9. The next national convention will be held in January last week/ February First Week in south or east India.

 

10. A chapter will be visited by some one from NC before giving the active chapter status.

 

11. Press conference should not be conducted chapters. Chapter can approach the media to inform about upcoming events. Chapters can issue press notes.

 

National Council Proposals for National Level activities

 

1. Participation in Right to Education movement.
2. Environmental Awareness.
3. Promotion of indigenous products ( handicraft, Khaadi other handmade products )
4. Promotion youth forums to encourage discussions on national issues to promote awareness.
5. Mission Dhwaj Samman- to educate people on flag protocol.
6. Promotion of cleanliness and culture of physical.

Note:
1. These all are the suggestions by General body. The final decisions will take by representation body – National Council.

Suggestions for the Propaganda team

1. A starter kit, which includes a National and Chapter level pamphlet, one booklet of the mission, video presentation of ideology, activities etc. T-shirt and a cap for newly joined members.
2. All active members can use the visiting card with the BM logo which is currently in use.
3. Identity card for members.
4. Members should move around to initiate more chapters.
5. Look up into fact of higher attrition rate in BM.
6. Use human chain propagation to bring up new active members.
7. Have a moving team to go to a newly initiated chapter to help them in activities.
8. Stickers for bikes and cars.
9. Take up bigger activities at national level like water management which will help in propagation.
10. Conduct talk shows and stage shows for propagation.
11. Keeping national meet in areas where we are not strong enough to pull people into the organisation.
12. Launch a media of our own (ie; a local or national daily newspaper).
13. There should be standard BM pamphlet in multi-language then can use by various chapters.

Suggestions for Activities

1. Take up activities which involve masses instead of charity or social activities.
2. Movement for Right to education, elimination of superstitions.
3. Protests against reservations.
4. National Relief team for tackling problems like natural calamities or disasters.
5. Studying the policies of the government.
6. Career counseling for students.
7. Should carry out National level activities on Aug 15th and Jan 26th.
8. Members training programme.
9. Activities should be result oriented.
