The Responsibilities are:
1. General Secretary
2. Joint Secretary Information
3. Joint Secretary Propagation
Powers and Responsibilities: (Article 3.6 in BM's Constitution)
The General Secretary shall
1. Have overall responsibility of the mission at the National / State level and be the
Chairperson of National Executive and Council.
2. Execute any power of the executive when not in session, provided that any such
action is approved at the subsequent meeting.
3. Ensure that the Smooth and cohesive functioning of the executives under them.
4. Ensure the various States/ Chapters functions in accordance with the provisions
of this constitution.
The Joint Secretary - Information shall
1. Act as the Information Officer of the mission both within and to the external world.
2. Be responsible for creation and Maintenance of all records and documents of the mission.
3. Management and moderation of all online E-groups of the mission
4. Assume any additional responsibility assigned by the General Secretary in
concurrence with the National Executive.
The Joint Secretary - Propagation shall
1. Be responsible for the organisational structuring of the mission.
2. Propagation of the mission, initiation and sustenance of new chapters.
3. Be in charge of the Website and Magazine Teams.
4. Assume any additional responsibility assigned by the General Secretary in
concurrence with the National Executive.
To be eligible to be elected, the member should
1. have attained 21 years of age
2. be a resident of India.
3. be an active member and a member of the chapter for at least one year.
4. not have resigned from any position in the National/State level organisation midterm
in the past 3 years, except, to take up a responsibility for another
constituent of the mission or due to change of state of residence.

Members already in the National Council will be preferred.
Non NC members can first get elected to the National Council by their respective Chapter Executives.
Only members within the National Council shall vote in these elections.
Schedule for the Elections:
Last date for filling/withdrawal of Nominations: 11 PM, Saturday, 28th July, 2007.
Voting by members of National Council: 29th & 30th July.
Announcement of results, and taking over of responsibilities: 31st July, 2007.
