The basis of our group is connected with two aspects those re
PATRIOTRISM & SPIRITUAL AWAKENING. Both these aspect make this group so
special but both these aspect are very closely related to Hinduism &
other indigenous religions why I say so is our country is the birth
place of many religion and spirituality is an aspect of religion and so
if all these indigenous religion benefit and progress so would our
country and so would all people irrespective of their faith would
progess too.
Many people believe only profiteering from religion that's why
conversion and differences take place.I regularly see in my locality
how rampantly Christian missionaries are propagating and converting
poor followers of Hindu faith it troubles me a lot but I cant do much
except blogging, even I receive various post letters which propagate
Christianity under NGO names of " community care center" &
"world vision" I can only create awareness through mails. Many
Indians change their religion once they reach other countries to
benefit their countries one suitable example of this is U.S political
bigwig BOBBY JINDAL who converted to Christianity to go political.
We all must remain secular and fight fundamentalist tooth & nail but we
mustn't forget that in this process our religion doesn't get hurt
mixing of religion and politics is a truth so said by M,K GANDHI
Thanking you

Dear Amit,

Firstly, BM is not only related to the "indigenous" religions but to
all practising religions of India. In fact its related to the people of
India rather than the religions that they follow. You have cited
examples of Christian missionaries trying to convert Hindus by
providing monetary benefits. But it is a gross generalization on your
part and there exist many Christian groups that selflessly help the
poor. So I would request you to please be careful before making such
judgements about a group of people. And you give the example of Bobby
Jindal. I think if he converted to Christianity, it does not mean that
all Christian brothers are to blame for that.
Finally, I feel that Hinduism is too strong a religion to get hurt so
easily. So it is unnecessary to rant about this further and just
concentrate on the social upliftment of all Indians irrespective of
their religion.

Warm Regards,
Hrishi.
