I agree with Ram's concern, being an IITians does not
makes you larger then the society, it is matter of
just JEE, and rank in JEE, there are much better
people in India other then those in IIT's, as there
are only 3000 seats in IIT this does not mean that
there are only 3000 good and talented people in India
(every year of course), what is more important is
technology confined within boundaries of an
educational institute or an organization for that
matter is of no use, till it reached the masses, one
simple example -- GSM/CDMA mobile phone, what would
have happened if it was not made public, till the
technology does not reach common people it is of no
use.

Our focus should be to get in touch with as many
people as possible and involve as many people as
possible in this mission no matter what their
educational background is, it should consist of a
cross-section of the society and not just engineers,
representative of all classes must be included in the
group, and this cannot happen over the internet.

The problem, so as to say, inherently lies with us, we
are a nation of hero worshipers, we need a Tendulkar
to admire, a Bachchan to inspire, Since we dont have
our Batman and Supermans, we create them out of real
people. Things are much hyped then what they are.

Lets focus on the noble cause that we have decided to
undertake and not deviate from it by getting
influenced from what other people have to say about
us, no matter if it is good or bad.
