Dear Brothers and Sisters,

BM management  discussed  two important points and reached to the following conclusion:

1. Concept of Founder/s

Q.13. Who are the founder members or founding chapter of BM ?

Ans. No individual alone is the founder of BM nor any chapter is the founder chapter of BM. Whoever gives his/her heart, mind and soul to this cause, is our founder member, because when we have to make a very great monument of a great nation, whoever lays even a single brick is rightly one of the persons who can be said to have founded the monument. All of us, who have worked for this cause, who are working for this cause and who will work for this cause in future even a bit, are our founder members. A society is always and always served optimally through an ideal combination of spiritual, social, economic and political means. All aims and ideals of BM are universal and eternal. Our ideals were always universally accepted by every person of high consciousness in all times and places. So, all of us must realise the spirit of BM and work together selflessly and egolessly till we make our country and finally the whole world a spiritually, socially, economically and politically developed society.

2. Concept of Spiritually Developed Nation :

Q.14. What is the meaning of a spiritually developed nation and what are the spiritual means that Bharat Uday Mission aims to follow in order to make India a spiritually developed nation ?

Ans. A spiritually developed nation is a nation whose citizens live in peace, harmony, mutual trust, respect, goodwill, unconditional love and selfless service to one another. The citizens of such a nation possess noble qualities like truth, non-violence, compassion, self-discipline, perfect integrity, perseverance, humility, rationality, questioning-spirit, universal love, self-respect and strong social consciousness. Such a nation is the happiest nation.

Bharat Uday Mission aims to follow the following spiritual means for making India a developed nation:

  1. Incorporating the elements of character-building in our education system so that it creates citizens who possess noble qualities like truth, non-violence, compassion, self-discipline, perfect integrity, perseverance, humility, rationality, questioning-spirit, universal love, self-respect and strong social consciousness.
  2. Developing a culture of moral self-discipline among our countrymen and women by evolution of awareness that our peace and happiness depends on the nobility of our character, expansion of our minds and purity of our hearts and by developing a clear understanding that "My peace and happiness lies in the peace and happiness of all."
  3. Training our countrymen and women in the culture of religious tolerance, open-mindedness, rationality, respect for differences of viewpoints, "Society comes first" principle and discipline of body and mind.
  4. Using scientifically accepted means of yoga, pranayam, vipassana and meditation for developing inner calmness and purity of mind. We believe that any good aspect of human civilization born in any society at any time belongs to the entire mankind and hence seeing such good aspect through the prism of orthodox mindset is not proper. So, these means should not be considered as belonging to India-born religions just like so many scientific laws and inventions should not be categorised as belonging to "Western World". Every good means that serves the humanity belong to the entire mankind irrespective of its origin.
  5. Since body and mind are interrelated, integral components of an individual, for developing a healthy mind, we should have a healthy body. We will provide physical training to our countrymen and countrywomen through physical exercises and yoga.
Above means will be incorporated in our education-system. For society at large, we will use persuasion, truth and non-violence ( no mental violence in enforcing above means on any unwilling individual ) in making our people accept these means for their self-perfection, inner peace and happiness.
