Namaste all,
                The CPT is now concentrating on few specific areas now. We would like to request all the members from either the far North (Himachal) or East and Far East(Bihar, WB except Kolkata, and all the North Eastern states) to please report to me personally. You may even call me in case you wish to at 99808045363

                In case anyone of you know anyone from that area then also contact me.
                                                                         ------Thanks....Rishi

MESAGE - 2:

TWO IMPORTANT POINTS

I would like to bring to the kind notice of everyone two important points.

POINT ONE-
I had asked for the excel files of all nodal chapters but I did not receive a single file.

We plan to do better database management of the members in future and for that we need to have the list of the existing members first of all. Once that is settled we will try out some PHP-MySQL based database management.

Please co-operate. It will hardly take 1 hour for you to take care of it. Send me the excel files by the end of this month.

I will reproduce the earlier mail here. Please go through it again.
Those members who are part of the main group but if their home town belongs to a node which doesn't yet have a chapter, then directly send your details to me with the subject "Master Database". Please take extreme care in this regard, think of me first before sending details, because it will be hopelessly difficult for me.

The mail:
Namaskar all,
After getting green signal from the Propagation Team members I am starting the work on the Master Database.
I mainly intend to have a well-organised, hierarchial ordering of members which can be efficiently searched for any information.
The hierarchy should be:

                 Abroad --------> Continent --> Country --> City
              /
Members
              \  National -------> Regional Nodes --> District --> Town --> Address

The regional 'nodes' are :
1. Jammu
2. Kolkata
3. Chandigarh
4. Delhi
5. Dehradun
6. Kanpur
7. Varanasi
8. Patna
9. Ranchi
10. Guwahati
11. Imphal
12. Bhubaneshwar
13. Raipur
14. Jabalpur
15. Bhopal
16. Indore
17. Jaipur
18. Jodhpur
19. Udaipur
20. Ahmedabad
21. Vishakhapatnam
22. Hyderabad
23. Nagpur
24. Mumbai
25. Panaji
26. Bengalooru
27. Chennai
28. Coimbatore
29. Thiruvananthapuram

I once again remind the members that this idea of nodes is to ensure that the regional headquarters or centres(we might have them in future) are uniformly located region-wise and not state-wise since states are just lines on the map and nothing more.

The various chapters of BM are :

BM_ahmedabad
BM_allahabad
BM_aurangabad
BM_bangalore
BM_bhopal
BM_chandigarh
BM_chennai
BM_chhatishgarh
BM_coimbatore
BM_delhi
BM_gurgaon
BM_guwahati
BM_gwalior
BM_hyderabad
BM_indore
BM_jabalpur
BM_jaipur
BM_kanpur
BM_kharagpur
BM_kolkata
BM_lucknow
BM_meerut
BM_mumbai
BM_panvel
BM_patna
BM_pilani
BM_pune
BM_roorkee
BM_utkal
BM_varanasi
BM_vellore
BM_vidisha
BM_Visakhapatnam

<BM_usa>
<BM_USA_chicago>
<BM_germany>
<BM_southkorea>

Now what you people have to do(Co-ordinators):
1. I see the chapters that coincide with the nodes are- Ahmedabad, Bengalooru/Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh , Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Varanasi, Vishakhapatnam.
The co-ordinators of these chapters have to get the database from the different districts affiliated to it(and so on- recursively) based on closest node to the concerned city/district which are:
Allahabad --> Varanasi
Aurangabad,Panvel (--> Raigarh)  --> Mumbai
Chhattisgarh --> Raipur
Gurgaon,Meerut --> Delhi
Gwalior, Lucknow --> Kanpur
Kharagpur --> West Medinipur -->Kolkata
Pilani --> Jhunjhunu --> Jaipur
Roorkee --> Haridwar --> Dehra Dun
Utkal --> Bhubaneshwar
Vellore --> Chennai
Vidisha --> Bhopal

I know the ordering might be too fine and complicated for now but we have to consider the case in future where it would be very difficult to track members.
A person is considered to be a member of BM if (s)he is in the master database irrespective or whether (s)he is in yahoo group or not.
This definition is appropriate because soon we will have members who might not be available online.

2. The format of the excel file should be:
Sl. No.   |    City    |   District   |    Nearest  Node   |  Full Name  |   Current Adress   |   Education   |   Contact No.(if any)  |  Mail id (if any)

3. Please note that we are avoiding two addresses for simplicity. My home address may be abc but am working/studying at xyz so there will be two addresses. On same lines we can say that we are part of two chapters.
But please give relate yourself to only one chapter where you currently are. Your hometown chapter will be taken as informal activity if you take part in it.
You may change your address in future but give only one address and affiliation to only one chapter "formally".

4. As an example, the Allahabad chapter will not submit the excel file directly to me since Allahabad is not a node.
He will submit it to Varanasi chapter who will compile all districts linked to Varanasi in one file and then Varanasi fellow will submit it to me.

5. Similarly for abroad chapters: please submit the excel file in the following format
Sl. No. |   District/City  |  Country   |    Continent  |   Full Name  |   Current Address  |  Education |  Contact No.(if any)
|  Email(if any)

6. Please mail at themostmyst...@gmail.com or see the relevant thread on the forums in case of any queries.

7. I can expect the excel files only from the nodal chapter co-ordinators(point clarified as above) within 1 month. I guess one month is sufficient time.
Of course there must be many members who are not members of the chapter groups, but I cannot ensure in any way that they submit their details.
In case they see this mail and want to submit their details, please submit it to the closest node co-ordinator.

                                                                                         vande mataram,
                                                                                                                ----Rishi

POINT TWO-

All people working on translation should keep in touch with me, it would help them.
Also, this is an open call to everyone who is well above average in any Indian language to volunteer for the translation work. This is the least, substantial work, you can do sitting at home, for BM.

Also please note that to take care of the translation of the chapters' pages is the duty of the chapter co-ordinator. I mean, for example Hyderabad chapter has to take care to either translate the chapter page themselves into Telugu or to see somebody else does it. The chapter pages will exist only in two languages, English and the local.

The priority order of 'translation need' is :

1. Hindi(going on, not needed)
2. Bengali
3. Telugu(going on, I guess, the person concerned, please contact me)
4. Tamil
5. Marathi(Is it going on?)
6. Kannada
Gujarati, Oriya, Assamese, Malayalam, Punjabi, Urdu after these 6.

                                                     -------------------------------------Thanks, Vande Mataram
