If there is anything we can boast of being the first, it is milk production in the world. All credit goes to operation flood conceptualized by Kurien Varghese, the AMUL (Anand Milk Union Ltd) brand creator resigned to preempt his removal from the very institute he set up, GCMMF after having served his full life. If today milk is available to common man, it's Kurien and his vision. Pretty sad way to farewell a great man.

Kurien is no less human being, I regard him at par with Jamshedji Tata who helped bring a revolution of it's kind despite lot of government hurdles at his time.
