to Bull Moose Hunting Society - Austin, TX
Thanksgiving has come and gone, a cold snap has arrived in Austin, and
UT is in he Big 12 Championship. Such times as these demand nothing
less that than men of character rise up in their vehicles, both
foreign and domestic, and journey to the pines in search of game,
brotherhood, and freezers full of sweet, sweet pork (I'm tired of the
Eggos giving me the stink eye). Outside of the town of Henderston, TX
I have 100 acres of Piney Woods that have not been hunted in at least
20 years as best I can determine. Based on my knowledge of the area
and intel from a neighbor who is a Texas Parks and Wildlife official
we should expect the lowland springs and stream areas of the property
to be thick with whitetails and piggies. Therefore, I think it only
proper that a prospective hunt should be planned at our earliest
convenience. While camping on the ranch is certainly possible I would
recommend that we instead make camp at the fine lodgings found at the
Henderson Best Western. Refreshments will be provided by the fine
people of Whataburger. Check your calendars and let's scare some
wildlife.
