Peace everyone!

First, I’m sorry to say that we’re going to have to reschedule our November 16th board meeting. It’s my fault. I didn’t realize that the meeting was going to conflict with an out-of-town trip I have to take. We will get back to you soon about rescheduling. Again, sorry. I know how difficult it is to schedule meetings.

Also, we need 100% board participation for the Brooklyn Movement Center/Central Brooklyn Food Coop’s Kickstarter campaign! We have raised more than $35,000, but we are looking to raise as much as $100,000 towards creating a home for the coop. Yes, we’re selling food of course, but this Kickstarter campaign is about creating a wrap-around center for food sovereignty and organizing.  Please use this link to back our campaign and share the link widely!

Lastly I wanted to make sure you’ve had a chance to experience BMC’s highly acclaims School Colors, which tells a compelling story about race, class and power in American cities and schools through the lens of Central Brooklyn.  You can subscribe anywhere you get your podcasts or go to our website

I know listening to a multi-issue podcast is a big commitment, but if you have a particular interest in good story-telling, trust me when I tell you that you won’t be disappointed.

One heart,

Mark
