What is the algorithm or method which AutoCAD CIVIL 3D uses to calculate the quantity.(ex:- Earthwork,material list,etc_ _ _ _)

 

Is it based on following any of the following methods:-

• Simpson's Rule
•  
• Richardson Extrapolation
•  
• Gaussian Numerical Integration
•
