Hi All,

Structural Integrators” announcing the new release of SI Xchange™ for Revit® Structure2010 (it took a little longer than anticipated but finally it’s outJ).  You can download it from the website. See here for more information:

http://structuralintegrators.com/products/si_xchange.php

Licenses for the Professional version can be purchased online at online store: http://structuralintegrators.com/catalog/

With SI Xchange™ for Revit® Structure2010, buildings modeled in Revit Structure can now be easily exported to STAAD.Pro® for analysis and design. Member sizes in STAAD.Pro can then be sent back to Revit Structure. This two-way export from Revit Structure to STAAD.Pro is a step further towards a seamless integration between RST2010 & STAADPro. Future releases of SI Xchange will continue to enhance our integration by providing round-trip capabilities to fully demonstrate Structural Integrators’ promise of Efficiency Through Integration

·          SI Xchange sends structural Revit elements (beams, columns and braces), as well as boundary conditions, to STAAD.Pro. Both steel and concrete materials and section properties are supported. Additionally, the Professional version of SI Xchange sends walls, load cases, load combinations, as well as point and line loads to STAAD.Pro.

SI Xchange now works when Revit Structure and STAAD.Pro are not installed on the same computer. Simply export from Revit Structure to an SI Xchange file and use the stand-alone version of SI Xchange to import the file to STAAD.Pro. Revit Structure can also be updated from an SI Xchange file if STAAD.Pro is installed on a remote computer

·          Compatibility: Please note that this version works with Revit Structure 2010 and STAAD.Pro 2007 or STAAD.Pro v8i.  This version does not include support for Revit Structure 2010 x64bit

·          Installation: The installation now works for Windows Vista without needing to disable User Account Control.  However, you will need to run Revit Structure as an Administrator for SI Xchange for Revit to run properly.

You will find this link activated under the Add-Ins menu after installation. Please remove any prior version of SIXchange before installing this release.
