Hello Room 300 Families!

This Thursday, May 3rd the third graders take the Reading MSP and
Thursday, May 17th they take the Math MSP.

The PTSA is woefully short of it's annual fund raising goal. $10,000
short. : ( The PTSA wants ALL children to have access to enrichment
classes and services regardless of economic situation, and knowing
that times are very tough for many families right now, they ask that
if you cannot give $150, perhaps $25 or $50. Small bits add up, making
a big difference. The next PTSA Board Meeting is May 9 at 6:30 in Room
204. All parents are invited to attend these meetings. During this
meeting the new board will be voted in.

The Teacher Appreciation Luncheon is scheduled for Friday, May 11.
Noni Roblin is organizing but needs help with set up, serving, clean
up and/or providing a dessert. If you can help with any or all of
these, please contact Noni to let her know. lsea...@yahoo.com. She
will fill you in on the details.

Happy weekend all!

Eva and I would like to add one more item to our list of Teacher
Appreciation efforts - a group bouquet of flowers.

On Monday, we will bring in a big vase with a few flowers. We hope
that many of the rest of you will add to that bouquet. No need to stop
at the store, just find something in your garden. It's kind of fun to
see what evolves.

I know we are doing many other things, including a plant, so I had
thought we wouldn't do this. Turns out it's really important to Eva
and I want to honor that.

Thanks for participating!

Kristin
