There have been a number of questions regarding the upcoming MSP.
Below is a summary to help clarify areas of question. I hope it is
helpful. However, if questions remain, please drop me or Mr A a note.

Both 2nd and 3rd graders are doing MSP practice work at school.
However, MSP online math and reading tests for 3rd grade only. May 3rd
(Reading) and May 17th (Math).
Both 2nd and 3rd graders will be assigned MSP practice work as
homework. The only homework will be to review the tests with an adult
and get a signature on the front page. Also there is a website with a
tutorial about the new online version, which parents will be asked to
go over with their child at home.
The content is educational and useful for both 2nd AND 3rd graders
which is why both grades are learning the format and doing the
practice exercizes. It is helpful for the 3rd graders to be
comfortable and familiar with the testing format so that the format
its self does not stymie communication of what the kids know.

Mark your calendars- Village is on June 1st !!!! Room 300's store this
year will be Leftfield Photos featuring student made photos taken on
the school grounds. The products include bookmarks, BF day rock photo
stand, photo puzzles, monster bookmarks, and possibly some photos with
poetry.

Two Reminders-
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 7-11. Please encourage your kids to
write a note, draw a picture, or whatever else inspires them to let Mr
A know he is the tops! A big thanks to everyone who is participating
in the Treats-A-Day fun.
Roman’s family have super kindly donated a baseball basket for Ms
McCloskey who is retiring at the end of the school year. Students are
welcome to add a small treat or present to the basket. Mr A and
class will present it to her on Friday May 11th.
