This Friday at 1:15-2:00 we will be celebrating Winter/Early Spring
Birthdays and a bon voyage for Maya who is moving to San Francisco. If
you will be bringing treats please let Mr A know.

Reminder: Tomorrow the class will run the Peace Assembly at 9:15.

Also some upcoming important dates:

MSP online math and reading tests are for 3rd grade only. It is on May
3rd (Reading) and May 17th (Math). Mr A has mentioned, though, that
the content can be valuable for the 2nd graders as well.

Village Day is on June 1st. Our store this year will be Leftfield
Photos featuring student made photos taken on the school grounds.
The products will include bookmarks, BF day rocks photo stands, photo
puzzles, monster bookmarks, and, if they have time, they will do some
photos with poetry as well.

Also, Roman’s family has donated a baseball basket for Ms. McCloskey
who is retiring at the end of the year. Students are welcome to
donate a small treat or present to be added to the basket. They will
present it to her on Friday May 13th.

On a personal note- Neither Derek or I are able to attend the Peace
Assembly. If any one is inclined to video our Room 300, or even just
pictures, and forward it, we would be grateful!!

Other plugs for charity- The clothing drive benefiting BF Day is in
progress! Spring clean, clear your clothets, and bring those now too
small clothes to the donation bin outside the office. A double win!

Sent on the go. Please excuse any typos, short-hand or incorrect spellings.

Hi Maggie,

FYI - I spoke with Mr. A today and arranged to bring fruit kabobs for
Friday's party.

Thanks also for the info about the basket for Ms. McCloskey!
