Below are updates courtesy our PTSA. If you are a member, disregard,
it is a duplicate but for those that aren't, it is great info.

Hi Everyone:

Once again, the strange orange orb has made an appearance in the sky.
Hope everyone has enjoyed the extra doses of Vitamin D.

~ Clothing Drive: Northwest Center, the non-profit organization
dedicated to helping adults and children with disabilities, is holding
a clothing drive at BF Day the weeks of April 9th-13th and April
23rd-27th. Northwest Center will take our donations and re-sell them
to support their programs. In turn, we receive 10 cents/pound of
clothing. The money received will got towards the new playground at BF
Day. For a visual, a big lawn trash bag is about 30 pounds of
clothes. So clean out your closets, fill up trash bags with those
clothes and bring them to BF Day during one of those weeks. Visit our

~ Math and Dessert Night: Come join us on Thursday April 5 from 6:30
pm to 7:45 pm at BF Day for Math and Dessert Night. Learn the
Everyday Math games your students are playing in school, talk to
someone from the district about the Everyday Math curriculum, and
enjoy some refreshments in the Math Cafe.

~Progress Reports: Progress reports for the second trimester should
come home with your children on Monday, March 26. Please read the
reports, sign the envelope and send it back to school with your
child. If your child does not come home with a progress report,
please contact your child's teacher.
