The final few weeks of school are a whirl of activity, much of it
including families! Mark your calendars.


Tonight, June 7 at 7pm- Writers In Schools Event

ALL LIBRARY Books due Fri June 8!!!

Mon, June 11- Read-a-thon. Kids will spent at least half the day
reading. Families welcome to bring a book and join!

Tue, June 12, 9:15
LAST Peace Assembly. A big one! All families and friends
encouraged to attend and participate.
Volunteer Tea in the library after Peace Assembly

Wed June 13 10a-3p Room 300 field trip to Organ @ St Mark's Cathedral,
picnic lunch @ Volunteer Park & 1pm tour of Conservatory. Thanks to
all our volunteer chaperones!

Sat June 16 Solstice Parade Parking. PTSA email said they had lots of
volunteers but would welcome anyine wanting to help direct cars

Mon June 18 Golden Garden's all day field trip. All families
welcome!!!

Tues June 19 Room 31 field trip to Milepost 31 Museum with picnic
lunch at Waterfall or Occidental Park beforehand. (Taking metro
transit.) Need a minimum of 4-5 volunteers. Sign up form to be posted
shortly.

Wed June 20 Field Day! Room 300 participates in the morning session,
9:30-1115. (K-2 is 1p-2:45.) My daughter told me Mr D needs around 50
volunteers and as of yesterday he had 5 signed up. My husband and I
have both done it in the past and can vouch for it. It is super fun!!
If you can come for any or all PLEASE SIGN UP! Paper sign up forms
came home with the kids, there is a volunteer board outside the office
or drop Mr D a note.

Fri June 22. LAST DAY of School! Friendship circle at 1:45pm. Early
dismissal at 2pm.
