Okay….this may be the world's second greatest sandwich, barely
trailing the Dishes (NYC sandwich shop) duck confit sandwich.
Fresh sourdough bread (I recommend half-inch-ish slices)
Fresh turkey breast – I bought a pre-cooked turkey breast at Wegmans –
it is delish!
Real cheddar cheese – like a Cabot, we are not looking for cracker
barrel cheese here. I like it sliced thin.
Cranberry compote/chutney – I found it at Wegmans, I'm sure it is
available at most supermarkets
Load it up (don't be skimpy with any of the ingredients – they are all
fabulous) and cook it, either on a panini press or in a pan (like a
grilled cheese).
It tastes like Thanksgiving's cooler cousin.
