4:00-6:00 pm:  Dance Workshop, taught by Fred & Toby

TEACH:
Slängpolska fr. Småland -  A fun improvisational/free-style dance from Sweden danced “on the spot” with your partner, that is friendly for folks new to Scandinavian dancing.  Slängpolska music has a driving, energetic rhythm and the steps themselves are not very challenging…a good dance for folks new to Scandinavian dancing.
Slängpolska fr. Småland  (Video) - (Ingegerd Vejvi and Björn Fredriksson)

REVIEW:
Stigvals  (Video) (Leif & Margareta Virtanen) - A waltz variant from Sweden that fits well with most slow waltz tunes.

Vigga Schottis (Video) - A fun schottis mixer from Sweden
