Second Wednesday Balkan Folk Dancing continues at Ashkenaz in Berkeley -- Please Join Us!

Wednesday, May 13^th, 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Yes, please join us for a revival of `70s-style Berkeley folk dancing—with International Request dancing—torecorded music, evoking the spirit that inspired David Nadel when he opened Ashkenaz in 1973 with Balkan folk dancing.

Whether you are a novice or an expert, we hope you can come! Dance to the exciting and soulful music of the Balkans with new and old friends. Come celebrate the diversity of Balkan culture through dance and music.

Teaching begins at 7 pm for all levels, Dancing at 7:30 pm, Cost: $10. Nadav Nur and Susie Shoaf teaching.
