A Message to My Fellow Indians on Gandhi Jyanti,October 2
Dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi on October,2
( From my poetry book ' Voice of Heart')
***************************
Some may trace in me the face of a rebel,
For others, I may have a terrorist label;
But believe me, my dear lovely Indians,!
Beyond such minds is my moral travel .
I am an Indian ; India is a pride for me,
But my heart is seething with anger;
When I see the silence on your side,
Making the evils stronger and stronger.
This dirty politics ; These filthy leaders,
This heinous game ; These hideous players;
Your fortune is resting with these robbers,
Under the garb of law, they are your sellers.
In their quest to plunder the nation,
These criminals form a single block;
But to deceive you, they pretend to fight,
So that you may not stand as a solid rock.
You view them in the light of caste and creed,
Their sinister moves have divided your ranks;
Your multitudes suffer from the pangs of hunger,
While your money is going to the foreign banks.
Break all the barriers of religion and faith,
Once again, India is begging for your blood;
Stand like an embankment along the river,
To contain this menacing ‘corruption flood’.
Your democracy is nothing but an open farce,
You are under the illusion that you have a voice;
Look at the horizons of this changing globe,
Bury these corrupt !Now it is your only choice.
