FAQs for International Conference on Business and Information, Singapore, July 12-14, 2006.
FAQ2. REGISTRATION
Please feel free to contact conference treasurer, Dr. Ta-Wei Hung, at twh...@mail.usc.edu.tw for any problems regarding your registration.
(FAQ201) I wish to submit two papers to your esteemed conference, one is single authored and another is co-authored (I will be doing the submission and will also be the contact person). My question is what will be the fee structure in this case?
The registration fee calculation is based on the number of papers you register. No matter you are a single author, main author, or co-author, each paper you register is US$250 and you can register 2 papers at most. If you register 2 papers, you pay US$500 and get two sets of conference package, which covers all conference sessions, two luncheons, four coffee breaks, one year (four issues) Contemporary Management Research (CMR), and a copy of conference proceedings in CD-ROM format. For more details, please refer to the registration page at BAI2006 website, http://bai2006.atisr.org
The register fee will be US$ 250 per person if registration before March 31, 2006 and US$300 after March 31, 2006. However, the registration fee will be
US$ 500 (or US$ 600 after March 31, 2006) if you register two participants and get two conference supplements (proceedings in CD-ROM, lunch tickets, and one-year hardcopies of journal named Contemporary Management Research).
(FAQ202) I wish to submit three papers to your esteemed conference, two are single authored and one is co-authored. My question is what will be the fee structure in this case? Should I pay US$ 250 or will it be US$ 500. Should they be considered as two separate submissions by separate authors?
The registration fee calculation is based on the number of papers you register. No matter you are a single author, main author, or co-author, each paper you register is US$250 and you can register 2 papers at most. If you register 2 papers, you pay US$500 and get two sets of conference package, which covers all conference sessions, two luncheons, four coffee breaks, one year (four issues) Contemporary Management Research (CMR), and a copy of conference proceedings in CD-ROM format. For more details, please refer to the registration page at BAI2006 website, http://bai2006.atisr.org
The register fee would be US$ 500 (250 plus 250 for two authors) if registration before March 31, 2006 and US$600 (300 plus 300 for two authors) after March 31, 2006. In this case, the first two papers should be registered by one author and the last one by the other author. That is, you need to register two participants and will get two conference supplement (proceedings in CD-ROM, lunch tickets, and one-year hardcopies journal named Contemporary Management Research via mail).
(FAQ203)What is the mode of sending the registration fee?

international conference in hotel of five stars ranking. The cost increase when
the conference the number of participants increases.
FAQ3. FINAL SUBMISSION AND PROCEEDINGS
(FAQ301) The acceptance letter stat that I have to send the final version of my paper. Why do I need to do that? I have already sent my full paper when I submit my manuscript.
The proceedings will b based on by the paper you submit in the final submission rather than the manuscript you first submitted. It is the last opportunity to modify your manuscript. After final submission, your manuscript for BAI2006 proceedings can no longer be changed. You can choose to publish either abstract or full paper in proceedings.
If authors do not submit their final version of their manuscripts, the first submission manuscripts will be used for the conference proceedings. That is, March 31, 2006 is the last date to update or revise the manuscripts. After that, conference proceedings will be finalized.
(FAQ302) If I send you a full paper, can I just get the abstract published if it's accepted? Or if a full paper is sent to you and accepted, the full paper has to be included in the proceedings? And if I just want to get an abstract published, can I just submit an abstract? Please clarify it.
It is the authors'choice to publish either the full paper(s) or abstract(s) in the proceedings. Some authors hope to participant in BAI2006 but do not want their full papers to appear in BAI2006 proceedings. In this case, these authors may choose to publish their abstract only in BAI2006 proceedings. To sum up, you can publish abstract or full paper in proceedings. What you upload in "final submission" is what you get published in proceedings.
(FAQ303)Will each accepted paper be published in full, or will some only be published in abstract form?
It is authors' right to decide to publish the full paper(s) or abstract(s) in the BAI proceedings (CD-ROM). What you upload in "final submission" is what you get published in proceedings.
(FAQ304) I'd like to know if an abstract or the full paper should be submitted. If both are acceptable, may I know the required length of the abstract?
Both abstract and the full paper are acceptable for submission. Please provide one to two pages extended abstract if you choose to submit abstract rather than full paper.
(FAQ305) What is the maximum length of the manuscript for this conference?
There is no limitation for the length of manuscript for the conference proceedings in CD-ROM.
(FAQ306) I am planning to publish the abstract in the conference proceedings. Is there any format requirement for the abstract?
Please follow the format of full paper. But the max length is one to two pages for abstract.
(FAQ307) What is the format that my manuscript should follow?
Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word. The conference follows the format of Academy of Management Journal. This format is available at the AMJ's website http://aom.pace.edu/amjnew/style_guide.html. Guidelines and sample pages are available at http://bai2006.atisr.org/Format.doc. In general, the paper must be prepared the way you want it to appear in the proceedings.
Please follow the sample pages in BAI2006 website, in case there is any conflict between the format of BAI2006 and that of AMJ.
(FAQ308) Meaning of Camera Ready Paper.
