I was up the mast today running a new halyard, lubricating shive blocks, re-taping , etc.
As I was lowered to the top port spreader... oops! The top port spreader is cracked at the attach fitting... double oops!
I talked it over with my friend at CSR in Seattle, who was one of the crew members on the race. We're scratching our heads...
We'll pull the mast on the 13th and replace broken parts and inspect the entire rig. I'll report my findings and Beneteau's response.
