Bride's mom: No idea. I'm guessing it's more unusual and he didn't know how to spell it.

His writing is clear, it's just that darn abbreviation and the unusual name.

From what I can see on the record:

On the [day not clearly legible] of the month of March in the year 1686, in the Parish Church of Santa Cruz, in the presence of me, the parish priest of this church, and of the witnesses present, were solemnly married in the face of the Church Antonio da Cunha, legitimate son of António Gonçalves de Mendonça and of Teresa de Jesus, with Maria de Santa Anna, legitimate daughter of António da Cunha Pacheco and of Maria de Ataíde, all parishioners of this said parish of Santa Cruz and residents on the Caminho da Vitória.

Present as witnesses were several persons of this parish, including individuals associated with the Cunha family, and others who were present at the ceremony.

And I, having given them the blessing of the Holy Mother Church, made this record so that it may be known, and I have signed it with the said witnesses.

Not 100% sure but I think his father is Manuel Espínola (abbrevieated Esp^a) de Mendonça; and her mother is Maria de Athayde (modern spelling Ataíde)

I meant Antonio Espínola de Mendonça.  I was just reading the name Manuel with the same last name abbreviation on the top line of the page.

I agree with David that this is 9 Jan 1745 and in Guadalupe.  I would point out that I think the groom's full name is António da Cunha de Bettencourt (abbreviated B^or)
