Help with details, confirmation - Nordeste

Hello everyone,

Looking for assistance in confirming and perhaps some details I missed in documents that i have found so I can continue with one of my branches.
  • Jose Pacheco - Nordeste - married - June 17th, 1759 - Maria de Sousa - Nordeste

I believe parents below are based on above marriage and birth records
  • Jose Pacheco - Joao Pacheco Alfonso married to Maria Resendes  (no further info)
  • Maria de Sousa - Antonio Furtado Carvalho married 26 May 1736 Nordestinho Maria da Costa (parents - Damiao da Costa married to Victoria de Sousa Pimentel
BOTTOM (marriage Antonio Furtado Carvalho/Maria da Costa)

TOP RIGHT (marriage Damiao /Victoria)

Hi Ana,

Looks like you read the marriage record correctly. "...Jose Pacheco Afonso, son of Joao Pacheco Afonso e Maria de Resendes (...) e Maria de Sousa, filha de Antonio Furtado Carvalho e Maria da Costa..."

Maria de Sousa's father, Antonio Furtado, was a widower when we married her mother, so if you want to find his parents, you will have to look for the record of his previous marriage to Maria Cabral, also in Sao Pedro Nordestinho. 

Maria de Sousa's maternal grandparents were Damiao da Costa e Victoria de Sousa, from S. Jorge, Nordeste.

Not sure what you are looking for exactly, but Jose Pacheco and his parents are natives of Achadinha, not Nordeste.
