I'll give it a try to start the discussion and hope others will shed some light.

Is Genoveva an intestate daughter of Duarte Furtatdo? Google AI says an intestate child is a biological or legally adopted child who is entitled to inherit a portion of a parent's estate because that parent died without a valid will (died intestate).

Genoveva daughter incestuous of Duarte Furtado son of Joao Vieira (deceased) and Teresa Furtado, and Marianna de Mello daughter of Antonio de Mello and his wife Maria Furtada natives of Nossa Senhora Mae de Deus ...... Durarte Furtado confessed his daughter ......   I get really lost here.  But it appears that Duarte Furtado and Marianna de Mello are 1st Cousins and their daughter is the result of a relationship between the two of them.

I wonder if the parents ever did marry? If so, there would have been a dispensation. But does the dispensation from back then still exist today?

If you read the first part keep in mind that you are dealing with a baptismal record from the late 1700's. It will contain basically the same information as any other baptismal record of the same time period.  If you take the information there and put in in a tree you end up with the attached

This makes it obvious that Duarte's mother and Marianna's mother are sisters. to confirm the checking the marriage records of the assumed sisters would confirm this.
