were they married in 1695 +or - , but recorded in 1735 ???????

he died on Sep 19, 1714

his first wife died on Sept 30, 1698

Yes, married in 27 abril 1735. Probably another Manuel Alvares de Aguiar. Perhaps a son or nephew of your.

English Translation

"On the twenty-seventh day of the month of April of one thousand seven hundred and thirty-five, there was presented to me by the captive justice [or a legal decree] sentenced by the Reverend Ouvidor [Ecclesiastical Judge]... which sentence states that they were married with two witnesses in the presence of the Parish Priest without any impediment, in accordance with the Holy Council of Trent, in the era of one thousand six hundred and ninety-five, more or less, in this Parish of Our Lady of Feira(?), Manoel Alves de Aguiar with Agueda de Rego.

Because no record of this marriage was found in the Book, due to this absence, the said justification was made, wherein it was ordered to create this record conforming to their Sentence, to which I refer, and which remains in the archive of the Providos of this said Parish. Today, April twenty-seventh, one thousand seven hundred and thirty-five."

I found his obit, but it listed Agada do Rego,as his wife,  I couldn’t find his second marriage, I found this by chance looking for something else 

This confirms I found the right obit
