Happy 4th of July.
I took advantage of your link to passports.
I am looking for my grandmother Ana Laureana Gomes or Ambrosio. She lived on Flores and married my grandfather in Reno, Nevada in May 1907. She would have likely traveled with her brother Joao Caetano Ambrosio.
I have many questions about the passport process:
What port would she have likely gotten a passport from?
How long before travel would a passport be acquired ?
How long was the voyage?
How long from an East coast port in US to Nevada?
Thank you in advance for any possible assistance.
