ADMIN: Some Trouble with GoogleGroups...

I just wanted to send the lists a quick note, letting you know that there appears to be a problem with the digest function with the new groups at GoogleGroups.

Daily digests should have started going out for all lists last Friday, but digests only started going out for certain lists on Sunday...and so far only for these groups:

Just-Fruits-n-Veggies
Just-Vegetarian-Recipes
Just-Side-Dishes
Just-Main-Dishes

That's all! Definitely frustrating for me, but there appears I can't do anything about this.

And, worse still, when the lists DO start sending digests, it appears as though they send a bunch of digests at a time...almost starting from the beginning of the list!

So when the digests eventually start coming, you may not have missed much! But you will get more than a day's worth of messages with the first shot of digests. After that it DOES quiet down. I do send out message daily to most lists; most lists will get just one digest per day.

If there continues to be a problem, I'll have to switch things to my own server.
