Indonesia girl who had bird flu symptoms dies - radio

JAKARTA, Sept 21 (Reuters) - A five-year-old Indonesian girl died in a
Jakarta hospital on Wednesday after suffering from bird flu symptoms,
the El Shinta radio station reported, quoting a hospital staff member.

The radio station said the girl died in the Jakarta hospital designated
by the government for treating patients suspected of having bird flu.
She was admitted on Tuesday, El Shinta said.

Officials could not immediately be reached for comment. Four
Indonesians are confirmed to have died from the virus.
