Comments: Dharma friends,
I am writing on behalf of the Diamond Way Buddhist Center of Austin to
let you know about an upcoming event. Our main teacher, Lama Ole
Nydahl, will be visiting Austin on November 18th and giving a lecture
at UT about Buddhism in the Modern World. Lama Ole and his wife
Hannah were the first Western students of the 16th Karmapa. The
Karmapas are famous as the principal lineage holders of the Karma
Kagyu school of Buddhism and were the first incarnate lamas of Tibet.
We would like to extend an invitation to you and any of your sangha
members who may be interested in learning more about how Tibetan
Buddhism is practiced in the West. The program will include a guided
meditation, blessing and Buddhist Refuge.
The details of the event are found below. Additionally, information
about our center can be found at <a href="

Thanks for your time!
Best Regards,
Simone Gregoire
