Subject: I usually never send group emails out, but here is a idea that is worth spreading, luckily it's a film I'm working on!
Honor Flight and Honor Flight Network are non-profit organizations created solely to honor America's veterans for their many sacrifices. Through Honor Flight, America's heroes are transported to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.
The film follows a small group of individuals who started the Wisconsin chapter of Honor Flight and the inspiring vets they met in their journey to honor the greatest generation that ever lived. I had the great pleasure of helping capture these events and interacting with these dedicated individuals, along with many of the vets, and it has forever changed my life. To hear these hero's stories has forever opened my eyes to what it truly means to be free. Their experiences have taught me to be appreciative of the opportunities I have, all thanks to the sacrifice they made.
Today, we launch HonorFlightStories.com. The goal is to get people involved and participate in honoring America's veterans (and to build buzz for our film). Our goal is not just to say thanks to the vets, but for people to reflect on the freedom and opportunity we have in this country and to live lives worthy of that gift.
We're asking people to help us reach 50,000 views by Memorial Day. The strategy: WATCH + SHARE + THANK
