Join in a National Call-In Day in support of a U.S. pledge to the Global Partnership for Education!

When: Monday April 28 Call-in Day.

Ask your representative to sign a letter led by Rep. Schakowsky (D-IL) to President Obama that is circulating in the House. The letter urges the U.S. to make a pledge of $250 million to the Global Partnership for Education at a pledging conference this June

Why:

• 57 million primary school-aged children around the world not in school
• 250 million children who cannot read or do math by the time they would complete 3rd grade
• The Global Partnership for Education is the best way to get these children into school and build lasting education systems in poor countries.
