Dear AusSTS colleagues (and apologies for cross posting),

For those of you in the Sydney area (or just happen to be passing through next week), I am thrilled to invite you the inaugural event of the Sydney STS Network.

Many of you will be aware that for some time we have been building a Sydney-based network for STS scholars and friends to connect through local events and exchange ideas across and beyond institutions. We are officially launching the Sydney STS Network next Friday!

Sydney STS Inaugural Event: Why (Australian) STS Now?

When: Friday February 27th, 3 - 5pm

Where: RD Watt Seminar, Room (A04, 203), The University of Sydney

Panel: Sonja Van Wichelen, Warwick Anderson, Mia Harrison, Daniele Fulvi, Suneel Jethani, Mitch Gibbs

The event will be a chance for us to introduce ourselves and our work as well as join discussion with the panel around the question: Why (Australian) STS now?
