Exclusive screening - Hug Me Tight: A Robot Story

Can robots take care of older adults? Can older adults take care of the robot? How should we take care of each other?

Join us for a screening of Hug Me Tight, an ethnographic documentary by Heesun Shin and Chihyung Jeon exploring eldercare robots in South Korea and questions of technology, ageing, care, and human-machine relationships.

The screening is hosted by Deakin University’s Cultures of Technoscience (CoT) Network, in collaboration with the Emerging Technologies Research Lab at Monash University.

The film runs for approximately 60 minutes and will be followed by a 30-minute discussion with invited speakers.
