PhD scholarship in UK - 'Regulating Plants and Agriculture'

Sharing this opportunity just in case you may know any eligible** candidates. I am recruiting for a fully funded PhD studentship to conduct research on a topic of their choice that relates to law and plants, biodiversity, agriculture, or food security. Example topics may include (but are not limited to) intellectual property, seed marketing laws, or access and benefit sharing laws. The research may focus on any jurisdiction, provided there is a clear justification for the choice. The PhD will be conducted in the School of Law at Queen's University Belfast, but a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is not necessarily required. I welcome and would fully support candidates trained in STS, history of science, etc. Interested candidates should reach out to me as soon as possible at j.b...@qub.ac.uk to discuss potential topics and receive support with refining their research questions and full proposal. **This funding opportunity is restricted to candidates who meet the Department for the Economy Northern Ireland definition of a 'home' student, i.e., UK or Irish nationals, or those with settled status in the UK.
