Dematerialization - Dinesh de Silva and Marcia Jane
RMIT Union First Site Gallery, downstairs at 344 Swanston St Melbourne
Electricity, air, shimmering, falling, light, flicker, sound, energy,
suspension, a brief freedom from time and space - Dematerialization.
An installation of amplified sound and projected light shaped by the
surfaces and contours of the gallery. Live performances during the
exhibition, see http://www.concealedentrance.com for days, times and
artists.
Opening Tuesday 11 May 5.30-7.30pm
The Janet Holmes à Court Artists’ Grant is a NAVA initiative, made
possible through the generous sponsorship of Mrs Janet Holmes à Court
and the support of the Visual Arts Board, Australia Council for the
Arts. Dinesh de Silva and Marcia Jane are part of Stream Collective.
