Welcome!

This group is about music from early as possible to about 1985 and later, and exceptions for very special songs a member wants everyone to hear are welcome. We now have younger members than the original "ourplace" group, so this has been updated to suit all members. Sorry, no attachments allowed. Discussions on how to present a song you want to share are already in the group messages. Audio books shared are also welcome. Do not post BARD books, however, since NLS strictly forbids sharing BARD or NLS materials. Articles

about blindness-related topics and music groups or artists are acceptable. Other articles are not allowed, since they belong in the Audioourplace-Chat

group. We support one another in hard times, emergencies, and of course, a death of close friend or family member, but please keep this brief, since this

is also really for the other group. Lastly, the usual--no flaming a person, a race, or a lifestyle whatsoever. A member who makes one mistake will be advised about it and will be given a

chance to act nicely. If flaming or racist remarks continue, the member will be banned and not allowed back on the group (This group is about having fun!).

Also, try to stay positive and keep the subject of a message in the same vain it was created; as stated, this group is about having fun! No name calling;

one chance with this is also enough; step back and cool off before replying when upset about another members comments. If a member is being banned, the

person will receive a notice about this.
