I have a 98 Audi A4 1.8t (2 Wheel Drive) with about 80k Miles.

Last month I hit the kerb at a good 30 MPH. Ever since then there is a
constant noise - it sounds like some plastic cover is rubbing against a
moving part (belt or something). Or kind of like brakes that are
binding. I checked under the car and under the hood and don't see
anything out of place.

So that leads me to believe its the front bearings. Hitting the brakes
gets rid of the noise, and so does speeding upto 60MPH+

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Amit
