People are not born atheist. An infant who cannot speak does not know what God is.

Everyone is born atheist.  It’s indoctrination that causes people to become theists. Almost no one raised by theists will be atheists after about the age of 5.  Indoctrination creates theists and interferes with brain development and rational thought.  People raised by theists usually remain theists because they never learn to think for themselves.

An adult who has not been taught about God doesn't know what God is.

Is such an adult a theist or atheist?

In The Story of Civilization by Will Durant, certain pygmy tribes found in Africa were observed to have no identifiable cults or rites. There were no totems, no deities, and no spirits. Their dead were buried without special ceremonies or accompanying items and received no further attention. They even appeared to lack simple superstitions, according to travelers' reports.

An atheist is one who has no belief in god(s). It doesn’t matter why he has no belief, no belief is all it takes to be an atheist. Babies have no ability to believe in god(s). They are therefore born atheists and will remain atheists  until they are indoctrinated into theism and reach the point in their development when they can form beliefs—around the age of seven, psychologists say.

We Christians claim that no one is born a Christian. In that sense, you are quite correct that no one is born a Christian or any other religion,  for that matter. They are too young to either affirm the existence of God or to deny it. So, they are not born atheists or theists. The direction of this conversation is going in a very silly direction, with very little critical thinking going on.
