80 years ago the philosopher and nun Edith Stein was gassed. She came from a Jewish family, lost her faith in God as an adult and studied the writings of the Carmelite Theresa of Avila while studying philosophy. She was baptized and joined the Carmelite nuns. During World War II, the Nazis tracked Edith Stein down to a convent in the Netherlands, took her to Auschwitz, and killed her there. Edith Stein stands as an example for the 6 million victims of National Socialist racial policy. The Catholic Church honors Edith Stein as a martyr and saint.

The concentration camp extermination system has its origins in Dachau near Munich. Today the concentration camp is a memorial that is visited annually by thousands from Germany and abroad - including many youth groups. The memorial has over 10,000 likes on Google Maps. The Nazis operated and expanded the concentration camp for the entire twelve years of their rule from 1933 to 1945. Leading henchmen of the SS worked here first. Prisoners came to this internment camp for various reasons: because of their political or religious orientation, because of their origin, as sexual minority or because of their social affiliation. Some of them became victims of scientific abuse.

The documentation has a length of about 20 minutes.
