Is an afterlife necessarily better than no afterlife?

'An Atheist asked Ahmed Deedat. "How would you feel if you died and discovered
that the Hereafter was a LIE ?" Ahmed Deedat: "Not worse than when you die and
discover that the Hereafter is the TRUTH."

Did Ahmed Deedat mean that Christian Hell would be not worse than no
Hereafter? No, he meant that Muslim Heaven would not be worse than
no Hereafter.

Whether a Hereafter is better than no Hereafter would seem to depend on
which Hereafter you find yourself in, wouldn't it?

Here's another such bright idea:

There is no point in life if there's no Hereafter:

Does this mean that there is no point in life if you can't end up in Helll.
No, it means that there is no point in life if you can't get to Heaven.

Why the rosy prediction that if there is a Hereafter, you;ll definitely be
better off there than here?

There’s no evidence of a hereafter so I don’t worry about it. If there is such a thing, it might be better than we ever dreamed— or worse. I don’t believe in godly punishment so I’m not going to give it a second thought. There is nothing I can do about it anyway.

Nice to hear from you again, Dingbat.

The question is: Does believing in an afterlife mean that one must also believe that
one will be better off in the afterlife than in this life?

Moving on to what monotheists believe ....

Giving Ahmed Deedat's belief as an example, this represents "the monotheist belief" as:
"Believe in one God, do good deeds and you'll be rewarded".
https://quozio.com/quote/a3de7e82/1025/monotheist-believe-in-one-god-all-knowing-all-hearing-all

Do all monotheists believe that?
Jack Chick.saud, "Believe as I do or go to hell."

Did even Ahmed Deedat believe that all people are better off with an afterlife?
Islamic hell (Jahannam) is a place for unbelievers and other evildoers.
Deedat never said that he disbelieved this claim or that Islam doesn't claim this.

Well, I mean, there are some people who believe in the existence of an afterlife but also say they are uncertain about whether their afterlife will be a good one...

Just like our present life.

No life, no afterlife. To begin with.

The Christian idea of afterlife is responsibility to God. God created man as animal rationale, as it is called in Latin. Only an animal rationale is capable to respond. Respond to what? Respond to God's question: What have you done to your brother? To your neighbor? To people in distress?

Now you may answer: Better to think about beforehand.

Ok, do it. God bless you.
