Manager Finance II, -Financial Reporting Manager
San Diego, California

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Coordinates the preparation of highly complex and SEC regulated
financial reports, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
* Researches compliance with all SEC and GAAP reporting requirements,
including sufficiency of disclosure.
* Coordinates and prepare the month-end general ledger closing
process; reviews journal entries and analysis.
* Coordinates the preparation of billings to collaboration partners.
* Provides research and technical support in the development of
accounting practice relating to new collaborations.
* Supports external audits including organization of supporting
schedules for financial statements and 10-Q and 10-K.

RELATED BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES (SKA'S):

* Advanced understanding of ERP systems and processes.
* Proficient understanding of accounting in a manufacturing
environment
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Typically requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent and a minimum of
8-10 years related experience.
* Experience with SEC Reporting (10-k, 10-Q) a must
