UH Glass Mountain Magazine: Silent Auction Call for Donation

Hello, artists!

Glass Mountain Magazine is the undergraduate-run literary journal at the University of Houston! Every semester, we release a new issue full of fantastic works of prose, poetry, and art. If you would like to check some of our work out, here the link to our website, where you can find current and old issues. Our editors are passionate about art and literature, and they work tirelessly to ensure that each issue is great.

We are holding a silent auction to raise money for our journal as well as for scholarships for our student editors. If you would like to participate by donating something to be auctioned, please get back to me at natd...@gmail.com or let us know at glassmount...@gmail.com! The event will take place on February 10 from 5:30-8:30  at Rockwell Pavilion (on UH main campus), and we would love it if you attended.

All proceeds will go to the magazine. This will help us to put on events such as our readings and our annual conference, Boldface Conference for Emerging Writers, as well as contribute to scholarships for our hard-working staff, as mentioned earlier. Needless to say, all the money raised will be used to support and promote artists and writers. We hope you decide to participate! 

Unrelated to the silent auction, we would also be glad to receive any art submissions from you for our upcoming Spring volume! The instructions on how to submit are also on our website, linked above.
