We just found a one bay paint booth in body shop. No sprinklers of course. What other automatic fire extinguishing systems have you all seen before?

AFPC Vol. I “FIRE” CHAPTER 24 FLAMMABLE FINISHES

2404.4 Fire protection. Spray booths and spray rooms shall

be protected by an approved automatic fire-extinguishing

system complying with Chapter 9. Protection shall extend to

exhaust plenums, exhaust ducts and both sides of dry filters

where such filters are used

904.6 Dry-chemical systems. Dry-chemical extinguishing

systems shall be installed, maintained, periodically inspected

and tested in accordance with NFPA 17 and their listing.

Records of inspections and testing shall be maintained.

NFPA 33.
