How can I use SWAT in Linux system. I am new to Linux OS. If user manual is available could anyone share.

Hello Anil,

The swat group provides a linux version of the executables on their webpage here (http://swat.tamu.edu/software/swat-executables/). However, it is not a current version of the model so you'd need to compile yourself if that is a concern. There are a number of threads on this listserv regarding that process if you're interested.

ArcSWAT/ArcMap cannot be used on linux. QGIS is open source GIS software that can be run on linux. QSWAT is an extension for QGIS that is meant to replicate ArcSWAT functionality within QGIS. So I would hope that it can be executed in linux - though the QSWAT webpage (http://swat.tamu.edu/software/qswat/) implies that windows is a requirement.

Just noticed that qswat uses Microsoft access. So I guess you definitely cannot run qswat on linux. Sorry.​
